Andy Parsons is probably best known for his regular appearances on BBC2's Mock The Week. Alongside host Dara O Briain and regular team captain Frankie Boyle, Andy has now featured in four series of the programme.

It was during his university days at Cambridge where he met his long term comedy partner Henry Naylor, where together they helped run the Footlights comedy society.

 

It's not widely known but Later Andy and Henry became principal writers on Spitting Image.

BBC Radio2 aired nine series of the comedy sketch programme 'Parsons & Naylor's Pullout Sections'.

Andy is still a regular member of the Comedy Store's Tuesday night 'Cutting Edge' team. He has also been a guest on Stephen Fry's 'QI' and 'They Think Its All Over' with Lee Mack.

He has been appearing at the Edinburgh Festival with Henry and solo since 1993 and has hardly missed a year since.

 

Andy won the 2006 Montreal Comedy Festival 'The Comedy Showdown'.

 

He was selected for Talk of the Fest Showcase at the Montreal Comedy Festival 2006 and previous trophies are winner of the 2002 Time Out Best Comedy Award and the 2004 New Zealand Comedy Guild Best International Act.
