Charlie 'Mailman' Flynn
After Dinner & Event Speaker (in association with SpeakOut!)
Charlie made such an impression on the TV interview, Scottish impressionist, Jonathan Watson ended up doing a take on Charlie in his traditional Hogmanay TV show "Only an Excuse".
Here is Charlie's biog in his own words:
Brought up as a typical lad from Motherwell and boxing from the young age of 7, I am now a professional boxer. The highlight of my amateur career was the Glasgow Commonwealth Games where I emerged from being a complete unknown and took over the competition and cheekily stole the gold. That's where I coined the phrase 'The Mailman Delivers'. Which has stuck.
After travelling the world and winning many medals for Team Scotland, I left the amateurs as the reigning Scottish, British and Commonwealth champion. I've had some amazing moments with the team, good, bad ...and ugly. After featuring in Interviews and TV shows, I've been catapulted into the world of public speaking; covering everything from after dinner talks to corporate events and Charity stuff. I even do inspirational talks for businesses that need some spark. I am Charlie Flynn and basically... I am the man!!! follow me on my journey!!!!
Charlie Flynn is now available via SpeakOut! for keynote and after dinner speaking.

Charlie Flynn is a Scottish amateur turned professional boxer who was brought to fame after winning Gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games when he defeated Joe Fitzpatrick at Glasgow's SSE Hydro.
Shortly afterwards he became a cult hero following a television interview.
He then earned the nickname "The Mailman" due to the fact he worked in a Royal Mail sorting office. He then had the slogan "The Mailman Delivers" embroidered on his boxing shorts and the nickname has stuck with him ever since.
