Janice Forsyth

Since graduating from Glasgow University with an honours degree in English Literature and Drama, Janice Forsyth has been working in the arts and media.

She was one of the original team behind Glasgow's Mayfest she publicised a range of arts organisations and festivals including the Glasgow Jazz Festival and the Assembly Rooms and she travelled to Poland with the Scottish Theatre Company and to the Netherlands with Glasgow Style.

Deciding she'd actually like to be paid above the minimum wage for a change, Janice moved into newspapers, television and radio and has written columns and features for publications including The Scotsman, Daily Record, The Herald and New Statesman.

Janice's television work includes the long-running NB Don't Look Down Arts Debates Festival Cinema Square Meals (Scottish Television) Filmnight Talk On The Wildside and Speakout (Channel 4).

She currently presents the Janice Forsyth Show and The Arts Show on BBC Radio Scotland.

Janice loves music, movies and mouthing off - so feels she has found her perfect job.
