Jeff is now an independent business consultant focussing on people management, team building, peak performance, recruitment and retention issues. He holds a number of corporate advisory and executive coaching appointments and also runs various management training workshops on effective selection and client relationship marketing. Jeff is also Business Manager for the England Rugby Coach, Clive Woodward.
To date this year Jeff Grout has completed 29 successful engagements for a diverse range of clients, which includes IBM, Sport England, the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, Nationwide Building Society and Saracens RFC. Jeff has acted as keynote speaker, conference chairmoderator and interviewer.
In January he chaired Bourne Leisure's Management Conference in Monte Carlo. This was his sixth event for Bourne Leisure in the last three years.
Jeff completed four successful speaking engagements at various locations for Parcelforce Worldwide on the subject of 'Leadership in a Changing World'.
The Entrepreneurs Forum in Newcastle have booked Jeff Grout for five events in 2006 to act variously as speaker, facilitator and interviewer. His first engagement in March was an interview with Yo! Sushi's Simon Woodroffe.
In May Jeff conducted three interviews for the London Business Forum with Sir Alan Sugar, Charles Handy and Sven Goran Eriksson & Sir Clive Woodward. He has also been booked by Robert Half International to interview Lord Coe and Dame Stella Rimmington.
For the third successive year Jeff has been booked by the Personal Finance Society for their Annual Conference at the ICC in Birmingham. This year he will be giving a keynote on the 'Characteristics of Success' followed by an interview with Greg Dyke.
In addition Jeff has run a series of management development workshops on effective presentation skills, selection interviewing, successful client meetings and building high performance teams.
The paperback edition of Jeff Grout's book 'Mind Games' is published in 2006 whilst he has also signed a publishing deal with Capstone for a book on the practical realities of leadership entitled 'What do Leaders Really do?'.
October Films will shortly be filming the pilot of Jeff Grout's proposed TV programme 'The Selection Game'.

Jeff Grout was UK Managing Director of Robert Half International, the largest specialist recruitment consultancy in the world. A graduate of the London School of Economics, he joined Robert Half International as a Recruiter at the age of 28, after an eclectic career as a van driver, passport office administrator, cleaner, world traveller and local government town planner.
He remained with Robert Half International for almost 21 years and built up the UK operation from two offices and 12 staff into a business with a domestic turnover of 65 million, 18 offices and over 350 staff.
