Patrice started his show business career in 1990 in Aberdeen as part of Northbound Radio's ‘Saturday Lie-In with DJ John McRuvie', the show becoming one of the most popular in the station's history in the late 1990's.

He embarked on a successful stint as a stand-up comedian and after dinner speaking  and in 2001 came out of the closet because his Mum wanted more room for the coats!

John McRuvie has been a DJ with Aberdeen's Northbound Radio since 1990, hosting 'The Breakfast Show’ Since 1995.  He was also Aberdeen FC's notorious Matchday Presenter between 1994 & 2003, when he was sacked by the £100,000 a year Chief Executive for being too expensive!

His sharp wit comes from his upbringing in Kincorth, where he still lives today, and is an experienced M.C. & stand-up comedian.
