Deirdre graduated in 1987 with a BA Hons degree in Graphic Design  from Hull School Of Art And Design.

 

Working on a freelance basis, Deirdre’s work has been used to illustrate an extensive variety of publications ranging from magazines and editorial through to book cover and book illustration and logo design. With a lively style that leans strongly towards the humourous, Deirdre specialises in Caricature illustration.

As an Event caricaturist Deirdre is a popular addition to any event  providing Live Caricature entertainment for WEDDINGS, PARTIES, FUNCTIONS and CORPORATE EVENTS. 

 

Deirdre has worked with a range of  high profile clientele and caricatured at a wide variety events, which have included,  The Braemar Gathering, The Lonach Gathering ,The Seniors Golf Open, WHSmith, The Press and Journal,  SPEOffShore Europe Exhibition, Offshore Energy Conference Amsterdam, The R.A.F , The Queens Royal Guard at Balmoral.

Deirdre has delivered  illustration workshops in several schools throughout Aberdeenshire, working in conjunction with The Aberdeenshires ‘Arts Development’ team For The Scottish Arts Council.
